פייר הרדי: ביוגרפיה קצרצרה
*הרצון לקריירה בעולם האופנה צומחת מתוך לימודי אומנות רב תחומית ומחול.
*1988 מתחיל בתור עוזר במחלקת ההנעלה של קריסטיאן דיור.
*בזמן זה מעצב נעליים גם לבית האופנה הרמס.
*בשנת 2001 מוזמן ע"ימעצב האופנה לבית בלנסיאגה, ניקולס גסקייה, ע"מ לשתף עימו פעולה בקידום מחלקת ההנעלה בבית האופנה. עם השנים שיתוף פעולה זה מציב את בלנסיאגה בתור בית האופנה המתקדם ביותר בפריז.
*להרדי אין חוקים בחשיבה על עיצוב לנעל הבאה שלו. הוא מנסה למצוא את האיזון המושלם בין לשמור על חוקי האופנה ולקבל את הטרנדים, לבין להכתיב בעצמך את החוקים והטרנדים.
*מקורות ההשראה שלו מגיעים מעולם האדריכלות והאומנות.
*הנעליים שלו בולטים משאר המעצבים בזכות העיצובים הרדיקליים שלו, השימוש בצבעים בוהקים וחדשניים ובזכות שימוש לא קונבנציונלי בעור ואביזרים נלווים לנעליים.
The new fall 2010 collection from Pierre Hardy (a French shoe designer), for the “GAP”, had just been released!
Quite frankly, I must say that I’m a bit disappointed. All in all, I was anticipating courage, innovative design, and shoes so beautiful that I will not be able to take my eyes off them- but all of this did not happen and I was left with a very disrespectful gaze towards the shoe photos.
I am terribly sorry, Mr. Hardy, I have no intention to disrespect your one-of-a-kind designs, I just thought that you would “wow” me, as usual, and to be quite sincere I was disappointed.
All of you that don’t know who Pierre Hardy is, I feel the need to give you a few anecdotes about him, and after I will show you the new “GAP” shoes, I will try to give you a “corrective experience”(!!!) and show you what Hardy is really made of…and it’s soooooo worth the wait!!
Pierre Hardy: Short Bio
*The need for a career in fashion starts with Hardy’s education in dance and fine arts.
*1988, He starts as an assistant designer in the shoe department of Christian Dior.
*At the time he is also designing shoes for the fashion house Hermes.
*In 2001, Hardy receives an invitation by the Balenciaga head designer, Nicolas Ghesquiere to collaborate on designing shoes for the label. The collaboration sets Balenciaga as the most progressive design house in Paris.
* Hardy claims that he has no rules when thinking of his next design. He tries to find the perfect balance between following the fashion rules and at the same time setting the trends.
*His main inspirations come from architecture, and fine arts.
*His shoes stand out among other designers due to his radical designs, his use of bright and bold colors, and unconventional use of leather, in addition to very unconventional accessories added to the shoe.
